Below is the scrap I made for my mom on her birthday. I made this scrap through smile box. I am really glad that I found it because they have so many different styles of ready made layout for free.

Hello guys! Have a nice Sunday morning! So what are your plans for today? As for me here I am spending my time online looking for some personalized gifts cause I really wanted to finish my Christmas shopping early. I know I still have a lot of time to do it all, but I don‘t want to have it all to do right at Christmas time. Plus I still have to wrap the presents so that I can put them under my tree. So anyway I have to get going and finish all the things I have planned for today.

This is it

Yes I am finally able to install this layout. I have been wanting to change this blog, since I am motivated to continue my scrapping that I neglected. Actually I started to practice scrapping 2 years ago but I stop. So from now on I am going to post my scrapping creation to this blog, but I am still going to share some of my favorite recipe here. So this blog will be a scrapping and recipe blog. I hope you will like my simple yet elegant layout. So this is all for now I need to fix dinner.

Appointment to chat

Good morning guys how are you all doing this cold morning? Me here I’m still sleepy, but I decided to get up early because me and my friend fe in las vegas has an appointment to chat online today since it has been over 4 months that we have talked. I was very happy when she called me the other day and ask how I was doing because it has been a while since she haws heard from me. So today we planned to catch each others online so that we can talk. Well she has become so busy with her work and me on the other side was busy too doing blog layout, but I can always take time to talk to her but she wasn’t online. So right now I am waiting for her to come online. I am excited cause I really miss her so much. Fe and I become good friends since we meet each others during our medical exam in St. Lukes. And from that day on we tried to keep in touch with each others.

Still can't think

Yesterday I was going to change my blog layout here but I completely forgot it. I was enjoying watching my TFC show while dropping at the same time. So today I might going to change my layout here cause I am a bit tired of it. I am also going to change the blog tittle but I still can't think of a good blog tittle for this blog that I can keep up with. Oh well I know eventually i could think one.

They Finally Got To Moved

When I talk to my friend Rea last night on the phone she was really glad and happy that they finally got to move to their new place in Oklahoma. She was really surprised how cold the weather is, compared to where she came from. Cause we all know Hawaii weather is a lot warmer than any other parts of the US. But what makes her happier is that they are able to get new discount furnitures. So it means they don’t have to spend as much money as they thought they would, cause they had to buy everything new, since they moved from Hawaii. So anyway I am also happy for her and in about two weeks they will be visiting here in Louisiana, so I am really excited to see her once again.

My scrapping

This is the simple scrapping I made for Lainy as my virtual gift on her birthday. I am really glad that she really like it even though it is just plain and simple.

Kitchen Faucets

Every time we visit my sister’s place I always noticed how old her kitchen faucets and it leaks when you turn it on. It really needs to be replaced, so I thought I would get her a new kitchen faucets set for Christmas. I think this would be a great idea for a Christmas gift and it really isn’t that hard to change, since my husband knows how to do this type of pluming work. I’m sure that we can get everything we need at faucet.com for an affordable price and a good quality product. So I can’t see anything wrong with getting my sister a new faucet for Christmas. The god thing about it is something she can use.

Pinakbit

When my sister visited me last weekend she bought me a better melon, eggplant, Chinese tangkong vegetables. I was very happy because she gave it to me for free. So the other day I decided to cook a pinakbit since I also have some of the ingredients. Umm It was really yummy. I also mix it with shrimp paste and pork. I thought hubby will eat some of these but he didn't because he doesn't like the smell of the shrimp paste and he hates the taste of the better melon right now. So I end up eating this food for 3 days cause I don't want to just trow it away since it was still good. Well it was a good Idea to put it on our fridge and just heat it up when I'm ready to eat. It save me a lot of time as well to cook . So do you want some of my pinakbit?

By the way to those who don't know what the pinakbit is. It is a favorite traditional Philippine dish -- a blend of several bitter and sweet vegetables.
