Seasoned Potato Wedges


These baked wedges, seasoned with Parmesan cheese and serve with a sour cream dip, make a nice alternative to french fries or baked potatoes.


INGREDIENTS:

1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
3 large baking potatoes (about 2-3/4 pounds)
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine.melted, devided






SOUR CREAMDIP:

2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream
8 bacon trips. cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons snipped chives
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder



DIRECTIONS:

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, Parmesan cheese and paprika. Cut each potato into eight wedges; dip milk. Place in the bag, a few time, and shake to coat. Place in a greased baking pan. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons butter. Bake, uncovered, at 400* for 20 minutes.

Turn wedges; drizzle with remaining butter. Bake 20-25 minutes longer or until potatoes arew tender and golden brown.

In a bowl. combine DIP ingredients.serve with warm potato wedges.

Yes yes yes

I send money to my grandma today, it is not big enough though but i am glad that i make her happy, you know were in creses this year also but i am still glad hubby send money to my family back home so that they will have food to feed their mouth, and also i want my grandma to huy so many fruits so that she can recover fast.

Honey Baked Chicken

"Baked chicken with a sweet and spicy glaze,"

INGREDIENTS:



1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder


DIRECTIONS:



Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place chicken pieces in a shallow baking pan, skin side up. Combine the melted butter or margarine, honey, mustard, salt and curry powder and pour the mixture over the chicken. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/4 hours (75 minutes), basting every 15 minutes with pan drippings, until the chicken is nicely browned and tender and the juices run clear.

Thank God

Yes! yes! yes! my grandma is home now and i was able to see her in the webcam with my granpa also, im soo happy to see both of them. i dont really want them to get sick. i want them to be always happy also. i have a lot of promise to them, i told them that when i get me a job here i will really help them to get back there kabasakan nga ila gi prenda to one of my mata pobre na relatives. I really love them so much and i wanted to to so many things for them to make them happy.

Ok as i see my grandpa this morning im so glad to see her smiling at me waving and talking, and know what she ask me only one thing...she wanted a 1 dollar from for a souviner i dont know why she only ask for 1 dollar. hmmmm

Pork Adobo

INGREDIENTS:

1 -1/2 lb pork. shoulder or butt cut in 1-1/2" cubes
1/2 cup. vinegar (sugar cane vinegar best, but any will do)
2 tablespoon soy souce
1 teaspoon salt
3 gloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients, except cooking oil, in a pot let stand for 20 minutes. Then simmer, coverred for one hour ( or until meat is tender). Drain and keep sauce.


Heat cooking oil in a skillet and brown meat on all sides. Place in serving dish. Pour off remaining cooking oil, add reserved sauce abd cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Be sure to scrape all browned bits to pan (best part). Pour sauce over meat and serve. excellent with white rice.

It seems that this year is a bad year for us

It seems this year is not a good year for both of me and hubby, I just found out that my grand is very sick, my mom is worried because my grandma is acting like a kid and she didnt even recognice my mama. oh this is really sad for me, i really dont want my grandparents to gret sick. Oh gosh im sad about this things.

Embutido

This is my own version of EMBUTIDO mostly sa iba nilalagyan nila ng carrots, bell pepper,mushroom soup, staka parsely...pero ang ingredients na gamit ko yan lang ang na sa baba. pareho lang din naman ang lasa.pwedi mo din etong e bake or steam lang.


INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds ground pork ( pwedi rin ground beef )
4 pieces canned Vienna sausage
1 raw egg
3 hard-boiled eggs
4 tablespoons flour
3 sweet pickles, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
salt and freshly ground pepperto taste
catsup



Instructions:
Mix together the ground pork, raw egg, flour, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture on aluminum foil. Arrange the sausages, hard-boiled eggs and pickles on top of the mixture. Shape into a roll about 4 inches in diameter and wrap in foil. Bake for 1 hr at 350 F. Unwrap and slice before serving with catsup.
